They say life insurance is similar to a parachute: if it’s not properly in place the first time you won’t need it the second time. I seem to be going to more and more funerals lately. It’s not always the people you expect, age wise at least. Sometimes it’s younger folks, often leaving behind families that aren’t completely raised yet. A parent’s death when kids are still young brings a host of issues, including financial.
